Interests: "Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The roundheads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They`re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can`t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do"
Expertise: The ability to dream, hope, cry and rise above.

So... here's a quick update of my somewhat hectic life...

-My premium xanga running out
-Im working about 50 hours a week, along with homework and some how getting by.
-Realizing that I need to surround myself with people that are on the same track as I am. I've always said that you should surround with people that are going to lead you to become a better person and that is exactly what I should be doing.
-Coming to understand that working fucking sucks.

They say that the older you get the closer you become to your mother, because you start to understand and respect them as a woman. I always thought that was a load of crap, until recently. I've been away from home, days on end and at first the absence of my mother didnt affect me at all. I was having a great time being away from lectures and my homelife. I would talk to my mother every so once in a while when she needed to let off some steam or give me a short run down of  what she thinks would be the best plan for the next 10 years of my life. I was even convinced that my mother was doing fine without me, until she would start calling me for no reason at all, just to say hi or ask what I was doing and ending the call in "I love you." You would have to understand my mother to comprehend what was going through my head. My crazy Japanese mother is the most independant, stubborn woman  I have ever come in contact with. She believes strongly in tough love and not showing your emotions. "I love you" is a phrase that is rare in this mother daughter relationship. This is a woman who has given me only about 30 hugs in my entire life. And now she's calling me out of the blue just to see how I'm doing.... In a sweet, childlike voice? Something is wrong here... Can my mother actually be capable of loneliness?

To be honest, I was starting to miss her a lot. The lectures I didnt so miss so much, but her stories whether they were one of her pathalogical lies I truely enjoy learning from them. What makes me laugh the most is how I have taken so many personality traits from my mother. Im extremly stubborn, so I was quite amused that she admitted that she missed me first. I wouldnt have a problem admitting how much I missed someone but my mother I just dont think I would know how she would react to that sort of a emotional comment. I believe strongly in tough love and I'm not very good with sympathy. I need to work on that... side note. So I have to admit that I respect my mother so much more than I did a month ago. Because she's aging into this incredible human being. She seems to have so many more emotions and she doesnt have a problem opening up to people like she did before. I think when you start to understand your mother or father for that matter, and respect them for the person that they are and the faults that they've made and learned from you really start to understand and respect yourself. Maybe thats just me, but it feels like everytime I learn something new about my mother I learn something new about myself.

Update Update...

So..... within the last couple of weeks, I've made dinner at Thai's house for the boys a number of times and they all turned out great. Steak, Pasta, Cookies, Brownies, and tonight... Chicken Bake. Mmm.. yum. We had a beach fest... waves, sunburns and sandwhichs. And lots of phone calls to rental agencies... and guess what... just when I stopped looking and Chris picked up the newspaper, That bastard gets us a house on the third try. Bastard.

So.. pray that we get it guys. It's off Delaware and Adams. 2 bedroom 1 bathroom upstairs apartment. Cross your fingers for us.

Thats Bao.. in the sand trying to catch seagulls... It didnt work out well. But he sure looked good doing it.

I stole this.. and I fell for every single one.

Count the F's in this sentence.
Count them ONLY ONCE!
Then see below...

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

ANSWER:

There are six F's in the sentence.

A person of average intelligence finds three of them.

If you spotted four, you're above average.
If you got five, you can turn your nose at most anybody.
If you caught six, you are a genius.

Here is the same text, but we highlighted the F's for your review!

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-

THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

try this one.  they say it can read your mind. don't think too much on this either. =)

Test 1:
This test is weird. Test yourself, but remember - The most important thing
is to follow the instructions very carefully and not to scroll down too fast.
Now, count the following easy calculations in your head as quickly as
you can. It might help you if you say the answers aloud.
Follow the instructions one at a time and as fast as possible.

How much is:

2 + 2?

8 + 8?

16 + 16?

Fast! Think of a number between 12 and 5.

Ready? Don't change your original number!

Scroll down!

The number you chose was 7.

Strange, right?!?

Test 2:
How much is:

1 + 5?

3 + 3?

4 + 2?

5 + 1?

Repeat the number 6 in your head as fast as possible
for 15 seconds.

FAST!!! THINK OF A VEGETABLE!

Think, think...

You were thinking about a CARROT, weren't you!?!
Really weird, right!?!?!

Test 3:
Say the following number aloud!
